Save your creation as a jpeg image to adorn a desktop or a blog. The size of the image is important if it's being published on a site - Punypng.com optimises jpegs, pngs and gif formats with no loss of quality.

Developers can tweak the settings of this image compressor, but the app is still in beta so do not be surprised at uncovering the odd bug.

This smart looking site helps make over ordinary photos with a variety of funky effects.

All sections of Befunky.com have at least one free version, and there is the option of upgrading for a small subscription.
